Halloween Spider

 

I haven't posted in Forever. 🤨

Trying to get started again with this quick Halloween Spider craft.

Start with a piece of paper in any color and size you wish.

Draw lines dividing the paper in half both ways...

then from corner to corner.

Next, draw your spider web lines...

They should look like this...

Take some black paper and cut 4 small strips 

for your spider's legs

Glue the black strips on your paper like this:

Make a body for your spider and glue it on

Then cut out a small head and glue it on

Draw eyes and a small smile on your spider

You're all done....

Heart Mandala

 A heart Mandala only looks hard...

First, fold a piece of paper in equal fourths...

Start drawing your design in the corner fold...

Add some more...

 

and hearts...  

Ink it in so you can see it better...

Now divide your main drawing paper ( a new piece of paper)

into 4 equal parts...

Using a lightbox if you have one or a window works too...

Line up your two drawings so the inner corners meet and trace your design...

Move your paper and trace the opposite corner...

Turn your first tracing paper over and trace over the pattern...

and now you can see it so you can do the other 

two corners on your drawing paper...

erase the guide lines...

And start decorating your design...

I'm using simple spiral roses...

Keep adding to your design...

Until you are satisfied...

Ink...

Color...

Whether it's Valentine's Day or another occasion...

it's fun to draw hearts...I love these flowers made of hearts. 

Make a few hearts on your page...first the V's...

Then connect them...

Add designs to your hearts...

Draw leaves and stems to hearts to make them into flowers...

maybe add a butterfly...

Ink your design if you wish...

And finally, add color...

Hearts in a Jar

How about drawing a jar full of hearts?

First, draw the jar...

Add hearts of several sizes...

filling your jar almost to the top...

Draw three spiral roses and some leaves to the top...

put a lid on the jar...

A few more leaves...

Ink...

and color...

The easiest way to draw a heart...

draw two V's one right below the other one...

And connect them by drawing a curve on each side...

Add another heart on each side...

connect the hearts with buttons...

a circle within a circle...

and buttonholes...

another button on each of the smaller hearts with ribbons coming down...

More buttons at the bottom of each ribbon...

and a heart for each button...

Draw decorations on your hearts... anyway you'd like...

 Ink in your design...
